Following the announcement by the government, we’ve been given an advisory date of Monday 8th June to start to plan a phased return to work.

During lockdown we may not have been able to see patients face to face, however, we have been triaging patients and giving advice, analgesia or antimicrobials. In the background, we’ve been working tirelessly to ensure that when we do reopen, we do so with new operating procedures and protective equipment that ensures the safety of our patients and our staff.

During lockdown we have been keeping a record of all the patients who needed our urgent help. We will be giving priority appointments to those patients first but we will endeavour to contact all patients who have missed their routine appointments, as well as those patients who are awaiting to complete outstanding treatment. To help us achieve this, we will be extending our hours – this will be as and when needed and will vary weekly.
